  • White/Chrome
The new style CRL Pinnacle 092 Series 90 Degrees Glass-to-Glass Hinge replaces the old style Pinnacle 090 Series 90 Degrees Glass-to-Glass Hinge which required a cut-out in both the door and the fixed panel. This new style requires only two holes (per hinge) in the fixed panel, and a cut-out in the door. After installation of the old style Pinnacle a small end plate was adhered to the edge of the fixed panel. The new style eliminates the small end plate, leaving a more aesthetic, uninterrupted glass edge for the fixed panel. Standard Reversible Pivot Pin: Each Pinnacle Hinge contains a Reversible Pivot Pin. One side of the Pivot Pin is marked at 90 degrees; the opposite side of the Pivot Pin is marked 85 degrees. Standard Pinnacle Hinges come with the 90 degrees side activated, which brings the door to the standard closing position. Offset Models come with the Pin pre-set for 85 degrees (5 degree tighter closure into shower interior). The Pin can be rotated (not flipped upside down) to activate the other side. Using two hinges with 5/16 to 1/2 inch glass (8 to 12 millimeters) the hinge will hold up to 80 pounds (36 kilograms) with a maximum width of 28 inches (711 millimeters). Using three hinges with 5/16 to 1/2 inch glass (8 to 12 millimeters) the hinge will hold up to 120 pounds (54 kilograms) with a maximum width of 32 inches (813 millimeters). Specifications: Glass Thickness: 5/16 to 1/2 inch (8 to 12 millimeter) tempered safety glass.
